Wok Asian Cuisine.

Overview.

Wok Asian Cuisine is an Asian Fusion restaurant based out of Tempe, AZ. With a growing customer base, the requirements for what the business needed to function had shifted from call-ins to a full online presence and ordering system. The purpose of this project is to create a visually appealing and user-friendly website for Wok Asian Cuisine. The website will serve as an online platform for customers to browse the menu, order food online, contact the business, and learn about the restaurant's history and culture.

The problem that needs to be resolved is the lack of an online presence for the Wok Asian Cuisine. In today's digital age, having a website is crucial for any business to reach a wider audience and increase their customer base. Without a website, potential customers may not be aware of the restaurant's offerings, location, or operating hours, which could lead to missed opportunities for sales and growth. Takeaways

  • Complexity in HTML or CSS was unnecessary; the more that the documents were altered, the more issues there were with the site usability on multiple browsers.

  • Simplicity was easier on the eyes for most users. Originally, the thought was that many users would feel there was a lack of content. This proved untrue and comments were more in favor of accessibility than lack of viable content.

  • The people that visit the site mostly went to access the menu page. This was taken into consideration when designing the layout. The home page has a clickable link in the first section and a easily visible nav bar.
